The team met and fed a number of alpacas whilst listening to the calming sound of the South African flute. Spending time with alpacas can promote relaxation and reduce anxiety helping build confidence. Being in an outdoor setting and reconnecting with nature also has many proven wellbeing benefits.

After this, we all took part in a Drumweave exercise held inside a beautiful warm yurt. Drumming also has many benefits in relation to wellbeing. It induces deep relaxation, lowers blood pressure and reduces stress.

Everyone got involved and felt re-energised and content as a result. Thank you to our wellbeing champions for organizing!
