The transitional strand supports individuals aged 18-21 with the progression to the adult service, Gwent Drug and Alcohol Service (GDAS). Individuals who may find the nature of an adult service difficult are supported by the transitional team; here a more flexible approach to support is received, where barriers to accessing adult services are taken into consideration.
